A simple reminder to myself. I spent over 30 mins upside down and then got frustrated. I went from loving the feeling to getting upset. I was upset that I couldn’t lift both legs in the air. I figured if one went up then surely I’m ready for both! WRONG. I was not ready. I can’t do a headstand (yet) and that’s ok. Yoga isn’t about doing anything. It’s about practicing. Practicing patience and acceptance in whatever pose you’re in. The more you practice the better you become. It was just 2 wks ago I was scared to be upside down, now I’m balancing on my head for 10 breaths. That’s what practicing yoga is about!
