Same girl, same shorts, probably the same wig (got too many to keep up 😂) with smaller hips and thighs! A long time ago I stopped focusing on my thighs. I realized that was the place I carried the most weight and they would go down on their own time schedule 😒.  I swear when I stopped stressing they started progressing. I have a few pictures in these shorts and I swear every photo my thighs are eating these shorts up. So be patient my darlings and know that your body will give back exactly what you put in. If you give it good things (i.e good food and running) it will show you good things (i. e smaller hips and thighs.) It doesn’t happen overnight, but it can happen in 11 wks 😉.

Your body is designed by YOU! I remember I took that pic last Sept b/c I had come across a pic of someone who was almost 300 lbs and now smaller than me. I looked at her before/after stomach and said “I can do that too!” Soooo many ppl tell me “oh your lower pooch is from having a baby. It doesn’t go away.” Ummmm wrong. It’s FAT ppl. It has NOTHING to do with a baby. This pic is PROOF that it’s fat and it CAN SHRINK! Don’t let other ppl (esp those who don’t look the way you want to look) tell you what’s possible. Hell it’s mostly men that tell me it’s from “having a baby.” Ughh excuse me. Did a baby come out of your penis? No? Oh then how the hell do YOU know? Bye boys! Decided to wear my natural hair out today. Totally forgot the curls my hair is capable of achieving after a good co-wash! Clearly the front is style trying to recover from the bleach and my summer straightening phase 😒. What are your fave natural/curl enhancing products? I need some help!

#ConfessionsOfAFitGirl: the moment I stopped posting my workouts consistently on here I knew there was a slight problem. The moment I decided I didn’t need to log all the calories I was burning into MFP, I knew there was a slight problem. I didn’t want anyone questioning how much I was working out or for how long.  I am truly addicted to exercise at the moment. It’s almost like a high. If I can’t get it, I’m angry. If someone interrupt it, I am angry. If I feel like I haven’t gotten enough, I am angry. I sneak and get it in the printer room at work. I sneak and get it during bathrm breaks. I say everyday will be a rest day and I still find a way to workout. My BFF said yesterday I’m obsessed with #s. So today I ran and didn’t use my Nike app to track miles. Problem is I’m so obsessed with #s I know my runs by heart. I know how many miles I run based on calories burned and scenery. It’s true. I’m slipping back into my old exercise addiction ways. First step is admittance. Second step will be to try not to workout today again. Next step is to force myself to take a rest day. After that, well we’ll take it one day at a time. So these are my confessions…..

So after the pic and caption I just posted I was thinking “damn I wish I had pics when I was a size 18.” Then I remembered these (pants on left) are the size 18s that had gotten too tight! Now clearly my butt and gut has went down, BUT look at my arms. I truly hope at least ONE person will look at this and know YOU CAN DO THIS!

If you’re eating right and moving your body on a daily basis, CHANGE IS HAPPENING! You might not feel it. You might not see it (immediately), but it’s happening. One day you will wake up pull up some pants and voila they’re going to be loose. I ask that you be patient and TRUST THE PROCESS. Easier said then done, but let ME be an example. These pants FIT nice 26 wks ago. Then life (a/k/a dates and late night drinks) happened and they were TOO TIGHT a month ago and now they’re LOOSE! Also these are a size 8. I am the girl who got serious when my size EIGHTEENs had gotten too tight 😒. So yea ummm I’m not just talking to talk. I’m speaking from EXPERIENCE!

The most common question I get is “where do I start?” You must FIRST: decide you want to change. Not kinda sorta want to change. Not just “tone up.” Not just “lose my belly.” NO you truly have to want to CHANGE OVERALL. You gotta be willing to make a NEW LIFESTYLE. When you’re truly fed up with what is in the mirror the decision will be easy! SECOND: make a plan. Plan by getting my e-book OR using google OR reading success stories on bodybuilding.com (like I did) OR using YouTube for workouts OR using IG fitness pgs for advice OR get some fitness magazines. Just make a damn PLAN! Not all plans will work. It’s all trial and error, but you will learn YOUR BODY along the way! THIRD: execution of your plan. Take all the info you have gathered and apply it. Get ya bitty bitty bum bum up and start moving. I don’t care if it’s walking an half hr more a day. I don’t care if it’s cutting down fast food from 4 days a wk to 2 days a wk. Just START executing. You will never know if something works or not until you TRY. Ok? Do you have an idea of where to “start” now?!
