So when I say I #EarnedMyShower today I MEAN IT! @jbw2183 challenged me to beat his time on Jacob’s Ladder to hell (as seen on the biggest loser.) He lasted 31:18 I lasted 32:45 (it’s blurry on pic, but I promise that’s my time.) Needless to say he now owes me lunch! You guys 2+ months ago I couldn’t last 5 mins on this thing. Who run the world?!?! FIT GIRLS!

So this weekend I was talking with my neighbor and he says “T why you keep wanting to change yourself? You don’t have self acceptance or self love?” Now I promise he wasn’t being rude, but he like MANY OTHERS think that CHANGE isn’t always a good thing. Let me tell you something. CHANGE is SELF LOVE. It’s loving yourself enough to know you deserve to be the best version of you. CHANGE is ACCEPTANCE. It is accepting the fact you will no longer be mediocre, but great! CHANGE takes COURAGE. It is courageous of you to tackle any task that seems in impossible to others. CHANGE is a CHOICE. It’s MY LIFE, MY BODY, MY CHOICE! Don’t YOU forget CHANGE is YOUR CHOICE too…and if anyone questions you about it send them my direction 😉 #FitGirlArmyTaughtYou

I didn’t have to dig, I had to DRILL a couple of feet to find all of those things inside of me. I had layers upon layers of self hate, self doubt, confusion, hurt, bitterness, resentment and a host of other things. When I got past all of them I find THE BEST IN ME. I took all of those layers and burned them. I then begin to take my time and lay down new layers! Those layers are what I am made of TODAY. I simply DECIDED what MY LIFE was going to be. It was a CHOICE! What will YOU do with your life and choices?!
